About the experience
Experience thrilling flying lessons at Teesside Airport, also known as Durham Tees Valley Airport, situated between Darlington and Middlesbrough. We offer 30-minute trial flights in a four-seater light aircraft, with each lesson personalised for you. Our fleet includes Aquila, Cessna, and Piper planes, all from a fully operational commercial airport. As you fly in controlled airspace, you'll share the skies with turboprops and airliners, making your experience even more exciting. Your instructor will handle takeoff, and once you're flying straight and level, it’s your turn to take control (it’s dual-controlled for your safety!). In this four-seater option, you can invite a guest to observe your flight, subject to pilot approval and weight restrictions. The stunning views over the Tees Valley coast and North Yorkshire Moors will make your flying lesson truly special!

- Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult on the airfield
- Weight restrictions (4 seater) maximum combined weight 200kg
- Participants need to be in good health and able to get on and off the aircraft unaided
- All participants should bring valid photo ID (such as a UK/EU passport or driving licence)
- Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Flights are subject to availability and weather conditions

- Flight times quoted are 'chock to chock' engine start to engine stop and include the time spent taxiing.
